My Boot Camp Program is designed to accommodate busy Tampa dog owners and those who need a fast solution for their dog training needs. I take a maximum of two dogs at a time in Boot Camp in order to maximize the bonding/training experience and allow me to concentrate on their particular issues. Dogs in Boot Camp spend the entire day with me, be it on the training field, with other people and dogs during private lessons, on the road to in-home appointments. The benefits of Board & Train are the following. I only train 2 dogs at one time for my board and train program. Your dog is with me 24/7. He/She lives with me in my home. They learn house manners, waiting at doors, no barking, no table surfing, polite in home manners. They are exercised thoroughly as I take them to trails up here in Pasco county. Plan on them having at least 2 hours of exercise per day. They also undergo 10-12 training sessions per day. I take them to client’s houses and socialize them with dogs in a controlled manner – not a dog park. They are also socialized with the other dog that is also training with me. They are around my other dogs in my house and learn pack manners – no possessiveness over toys / food. They are around other friends of mine, and I routinely have people I trust handle the dog during its stay to get them comfortable with multiple people commanding them – like a family would. I start this training at 6 months of age.

This program is also guaranteed for the life of the dog. It is by far my most successful program as it alleviates all the hard work on your part. It is amazing when owners get a turn key dog after two short weeks. If you need custom problem solving issues like housebreaking or additional manners inside the home – that is trained as well.

Here is what my Tampa Dog Training board and train includes:

A full 14 days with me at my house. It also includes all the training equipment. It also includes a private turn over with your dog at the end of the 14 days. I then over the next two weeks give you 3 private on site lessons to review everything your dog has trained on and transfer those commands / timing / praise / corrections over to you.  Your dog learns all of the basic obedience commands (sit, stay, recall, walk nicely on leash, down, place, auto heel / sit, attention exercises, basic off leash proofing) plus:

• Exceptional leash walking manners.
• Sit and stay with temptations.
• Settle calmly.
• Go to a Place target.
• Come when called, even in an emergency situation.
• Resolve jumping, barking, nipping, stealing objects, digging, table & counter surfing, mild aggression, resource guarding, door bolting, running away, and more.

• Teaches a pushy dog to respect its family.
• Teaches a shy dog trust and confidence in its family.
• Teaches rambunctious dogs self-control around its family.
• Helps anxious dogs to learn coping skills.

Your dog does not live in a kennel while at Elite Dog Academy. It is living in my home. This allows me to live, observe, and interact with your  dog in a realistic residential environment. I teach in my home, in the yard, and in the neighborhood. Your dog quickly learns what is expected of it in a calm, patient setting. It is exposed to situations you encounter in family life. By using your dog’s instincts to work in a pack along with controlled training, I engage the dog’s natural drives. I give you results that will last in your home starting the very day your dog returns to your house. I also guarantee my training for the life of the dog.

All dogs must go through an initial evaluation and consultation before beginning my board and train program.

The dog board and train Tampa program is suitable for dogs 6 months and older. Your dog is required to be up to date with all vaccinations and be in good health. This program is guaranteed. If you need follow ups, there is no charge.
